I’m John Moss.
Outside of work and politics, it’s important to have a life.
I have two grown up kids and I live with my partner and our dog, Doodles. He’s often seen with us out canvassing, but a long walk in the woods, followed by a shower (for the dog, not us) is a real pleasure on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We like to cook, but also enjoy a simple evening out at the local Toby Carvery. Nothing beats their beef dripping roasties – except my home cooked ones!
To escape from it all, I like to ski. I’ve qualified as an instructor twice. Once on the Beckton Alps dry slope and once on the real stuff. I don’t teach skiing anymore, but i do like to get out into the backcountry away from the pistes and there really is nothing like the experience of dropping into a bowl of untracked, fresh powder and making a right mess of it!
