I stepped up in 1999 When Walthamstow needed a Chairman and as an Area Officer in the mid ’00s, stepped in as interim Chair in Ilford North and Bethnal Green & Bow to help get those Associations running again.

When I became Deputy Chairman Political in Chingford & Woodford Green, it was clear that Labour had their sights on the seat. But by driving change, engaging our supporters and members, I built a machine which delivered Sir Iain Duncan Smith’s re-election three times over. 

I want the CCA role to help any and all Associations and Council Groups to emulate that success. I won’t say its easy, but we can all learn from each other how best to deliver success for the Conservative Party.
